High-Speed Paint Dispersers & Dispersing Equipment
POLYC MACHINE high-speed paint dispersers wet out and disperse pigments for coatings, inks and adhesives, plus a basket mill machine for batch grinding and frequent color changes. Mixing high viscosity slurries or pastes? See the high viscosity mixer selection guide. Not sure which power or disc size you need? Read the high-speed disperser selection guide.

Built for industrial processing
High-speed dispersers wet, mix and disperse solid-liquid materials under strong shear from the toothed disc, then feed a bead mill for fine grinding. Inverter speed control and hydraulic lift adapt to different viscosities and make cleaning fast. Typical applications: water- and solvent-based paints, latex and wall coatings, anti-corrosion and waterproof coatings, putty, low-viscosity glues, resins, slurries, adhesives and paper coatings. Key features: single- or double-layer toothed disc for strong shear; hydraulic lift via on-panel controls; variable-frequency speed matching to your material; optional cooling jacket to control process temperature; quick-disassemble design for fast color and material changes. With 25 years of dispersion equipment manufacturing experience, POLYC MACHINE configures each machine to your process.
Before you request a quote
To give you an accurate price and lead time, our engineers need the following information about your disperser application. Having these details ready helps us recommend the right power, disc size and configuration on the first pass.
- Motor power - required kW or HP, or the batch volume you need to process
- Shaft speed - fixed speed or variable frequency drive (VFD)
- Lifting stroke - how far the shaft must rise to clear the vessel
- Explosion-proof rating - required for solvent-based coatings, inks and resins; not required for water-based products
- Dispersing disc diameter - or the vessel diameter, so we can size the disc at roughly one third of vessel diameter
- Wetted parts material - standard carbon steel, stainless steel 304, or stainless steel 316 for corrosive materials
- Overall dimensions and footprint - any space constraints in your production area
- Vacuum requirement - if vacuum degassing is needed, we will specify a mechanical seal configuration
Not sure about any of these? Send us what you know and our engineers will help you specify the rest.
