Description
How it works
The horizontal plough shear mixer is a high-intensity powder mixing machine featuring plough-shaped agitators mounted on a horizontal shaft. As the agitators rotate at high speed, they create a mechanical fluidization effect that throws materials into a free-falling zone, achieving rapid, intensive mixing.
The unique plough shape generates three-dimensional material movement, ensuring uniform mixing even for materials with significantly different bulk densities and particle sizes. High-speed choppers can be installed on the side of the mixing chamber for agglomerate breaking, fiber dispersion and intensive shear mixing.
The plough shear mixer is widely used for mixing powders, granules, pastes and slurries in chemical, food, pharmaceutical, building material, cosmetic and agricultural industries. It is especially suitable for difficult-to-mix materials and applications requiring high mixing intensity.
