Customer Challenge
The customer needed a complete production line for solvent-based gravure ink with the following requirements:
- Material viscosity: 5,000-8,000 CPS
- Production capacity: 200-300 kg/hour
- Grinding fineness below 5 microns
- Complete line from pre-mixing to grinding
- Dust and odor removal system required
POLYC Solution
POLYC MACHINE configured a complete gravure ink production line:
- Pre-Dispersing: 22 kW High-Speed Disperser with 2x 1,000L movable tanks
- Emulsification: 22 kW High-Shearing Emulsifier with 2x 1,000L movable tanks
- Fine Grinding: 20L Pin-Type Bead Mill with 2x transfer tanks
- Environmental: Dust collector and odor removal system
Results
With POLYC technical drawings, installation guides, electrical diagrams, operation manuals, and video tutorials, the customer successfully installed and operated the production line independently. All machines perform well, with grinding fineness reaching 2 microns and excellent color strength. Shipment completed in October 2024; installation and production started in March 2025.
