Recently our factory completed and shipped a large-scale, fully automatic latex paint production line to a customer in Argentina. From the first requirement discussion to the finalized design and on through manufacturing, the project showcased Polyc's customization strength and solid engineering capability — and our willingness to confirm every detail until the line was proven against the customer's real material.
Customer Requirements
The customer needed to produce latex paint at a viscosity of less than 2000 cps, with:
- a high-speed dispersing tank and a low-speed mixing tank;
- an integrated pumping system for product transfer between separators and mixers;
- a filling machine for plastic barrels.
From Vague Needs to a Finalized Technical Drawing
We started from the customer's initial needs and produced a preliminary full-process technical drawing — raw materials entering the mixing tank from outside the factory, additive storage tanks feeding the mixer, and the final filling stage. The customer confirmed and adjusted it.
As discussion progressed, the customer refined real production conditions: increasing the capacity and quantity of the high- and low-speed tanks and sending the specific types and quantities of additives. We asked further details — how many tanks received additives, required additive volumes — and updated the drawings again. The customer then requested a powder feeding station, filters, and pumps. For the feeding station we asked about powder-bag size and bag-breaking method before recommending the most suitable design.
Only after the customer confirmed the line layout was the technical drawing finalized. Before production we re-confirmed cables, wiring, conduit, and power.
Real-Material Testing Before Delivery
To guarantee a perfect fit, we asked the customer to send samples of their actual material along with the bottles and barrels to be used. We tested the machines against those samples, fine-tuning parameters so that when the equipment arrived it had already been proven against the very product it would process every day.
Transparent Production, Every Step of the Way
During manufacturing we sent the customer real-time photos and videos of every stage — platform construction, full machine installation, running tests, painting, and packaging. After the line was complete and confirmed, we arranged packaging and transport.
Documentation & On-Site Commissioning
After production we supplied detailed operation videos, operation manuals, electrical circuit diagrams, and installation drawings. For large lines we dispatch senior engineers to the customer's factory for on-site commissioning and debugging, working alongside their team until the line runs smoothly at full capacity.
