The PMX series Vacuum Double Planetary Mixer is an advanced laboratory and pilot-scale compounding system engineered for processing ultra-high viscosity pastes, non-flowing gels, and heavy slurries ranging from 0 to 1,500,000 cps. Featuring planetary motion where agitator blades revolve around the vessel center while simultaneously rotating on their own individual axes, it creates intense multi-directional shear and kneading action that ensures uniform mixing even for the most challenging materials.

High Vacuum Degassing: The vacuum system achieves -0.098 MPa, effectively eliminating entrained air and bubbles from high-viscosity formulations. This is critical for producing bubble-free products such as adhesives, sealants, and electronic materials.
Precise Temperature Control: The jacketed vessel provides precise temperature control with +/-1 degree C accuracy up to 220C, enabling processing of temperature-sensitive materials and facilitating reactions that require specific temperature profiles.
Versatile Agitator Geometries: Multiple agitator configurations are available including twist blades, anchor blades, and dispersing discs, allowing optimization for different material characteristics and processing requirements.
Flexible Hydraulic Discharge: Equipped with a pressing machine for discharging material out of the vessel, the hydraulic press discharge system enables convenient removal of even the most viscous materials after testing or small-batch production.
Scalable Capacity Range: Available in 1L, 2L, 5L, 10L, 20L, and 30L laboratory configurations, with larger pilot and production models up to 1,000L available. This scalability enables seamless scale-up from laboratory formulation development to full production.
