Customer challenge
A representative adhesives producer was working with high-solids, high-viscosity formulations that trapped air during mixing. Air bubbles affected density control, package filling, and appearance, while manual handling increased batch-to-batch variation.
POLYC MACHINE solution
POLYC MACHINE proposed a vacuum planetary mixer with a jacketed vessel, high-torque agitation, controlled speed profiles, and discharge selected for paste rheology. Vacuum is introduced during the mix cycle to support deaeration without sacrificing homogeneity.
Typical implementation results
- Vacuum processing is used to reduce entrained air in bubble-sensitive compounds.
- Controlled mixing profiles support repeatable batch handling.
- Jacket options provide a route to manage temperature rise during high-torque mixing.
Important: This is a representative application. Mixing time, vacuum level, and product quality must be confirmed with the actual material.
