How to send a brief our engineers can act on

A useful inquiry is a short technical brief, not a request for a price list. The more precisely you describe the material and the target, the faster you get back a specification you can actually use — and the less likely it is that the first machine proposed turns out to be the wrong size.

Include the things that change the answer: the material or product type; the viscosity or solids loading; the fineness you must hold (a D90 in microns, or a gloss target); the capacity, whether in litres per batch or tonnes per year; whether you run batch or continuous; and any constraints such as floor space, available utilities, ATEX or hazardous-area rules, hygiene or cleaning requirements, and corrosion. If you are troubleshooting an existing line, send the current machine and the symptom instead.

Every brief is read by an application engineer, not a bot. You get a recommended equipment route and clear next steps, typically within one business day, and a mutual NDA can be put in place before you share formulation details. Where a route can be phased, we will say which machine to buy first and what to plan for later.

COMMON QUESTIONS

Before you send an RFQ.

What information helps you select equipment?

Material name, viscosity, particle size, capacity, operation mode, and utilities give us a useful starting point.

Can you support trials before purchase?

For suitable projects we can discuss sample testing, process windows, and scale-up data.

Do you provide complete production lines?

We can integrate feeding, milling, mixing, transfer, filtration, filling, and controls.

What documentation is supplied?

Typical deliverables include drawings, manuals, electrical information, test records, and spares documentation.

Do you sign an NDA before discussing our formulation?

Yes, on request. We can put a mutual NDA in place before you share formulation details, and technical information stays with the application engineering team.

How quickly do you reply, and in which language?

An application engineer replies within one business day, in English by default. For localised projects we coordinate with regional support for Spanish, Portuguese, Russian, Arabic, German, Italian and Korean inquiries.

What certifications do your machines carry?

Manufacturing is ISO 9001 certified and machines are built to CE requirements. We can supply to ATEX requirements where the application calls for it, and provide the documentation needed for customs and local compliance.

What is the typical lead time?

Standard machines typically ship within 30 days. Custom configurations or special materials of construction are quoted case by case after a process review.

Do you supply spare parts and after-sales support?

Yes. We keep spare parts for the standard range and provide installation guidance, operator training and ongoing technical support after commissioning.

Which languages and time zones do you support?

Inquiries are handled in English and Chinese, with working hours covering both Asian and European business windows so most replies land within one business day.

ENGINEERING-LED EXPORT SUPPORT

Why manufacturers work with POLYC

POLYC MACHINE builds wet-grinding, dispersion and mixing equipment for coating, ink, agrochemical, mineral, food and pharmaceutical producers. Below is what an export inquiry actually gets you — the parts that matter once you move from browsing to buying.

RESPONSE

A real engineer within 24 hours

Every inquiry is read by an application engineer, not an auto-responder. You get a recommended machine and the reasoning behind it, usually within one business day.

GLOBAL

Equipment in 80+ countries

POLYC bead mills, basket mills, dispersers, three-roll mills and mixers run in production at coating, ink and chemical plants across more than 80 countries, coordinated from the Shanghai office and the Jiangyin manufacturing base.

QUALITY

ISO 9001 manufacturing, CE-ready builds

Production follows ISO 9001 quality management, machines are built to CE requirements, and every unit is functionally tested before it leaves the factory.

WARRANTY

3-year warranty and commissioning

A 3-year warranty backs the build. After delivery we support installation guidance, operator training and ongoing technical service.

FROM INQUIRY TO PRODUCTION

What happens after you inquire

No two processes are identical, so we treat every inquiry as a small engineering project rather than a catalogue order.

1

We read your brief

An application engineer reviews your material, target fineness, capacity and utility limits — the inputs that actually change the recommendation.

2

We recommend equipment

You receive a recommended machine or line concept, with the reasoning for the selection and the alternatives we considered.

3

Trial and quotation

Where it helps, we run a sample trial and return scale-up data, then issue a project-specific quotation.

4

Build, ship, commission

After approval we manufacture, functionally test, ship, and support installation, training and commissioning.

AFTER YOU INQUIRE

A real engineer reads every brief.

Every inquiry goes to a POLYC application engineer, not a bot. We review your material, target fineness and throughput, then reply with a recommended equipment route and next steps — typically within one business day.
